Hello Gals Guys,

I am Fahad Raza, joined SFI a couple of days back this week. For some reason my Team Leader(TL) didnot respond me for two days. I hope his systems are working properly. So I thought whynot ask you guys the same questions which I had to ask from my TL as I want to proceed further.


He suggested me to purchase IAHBE membership to become EA and I also thought the same of purchasing the membership of IAHBE ($29.95), but the problem is how do I pay for it? At the moment I don't have a Credit Card. I can have one with no fuss, but here in Pakistan they charge compound interest on cash transactions. Thats why I am more inclined to pay via money orders or checks. What is the situation? Do they(SFI Group) accept money orders? I want to earn 10SVP asap and move forward.

What do you reckon about the Gateway pages? I have seen my Veriuni Store Gateway and all the sub gateways. What do you think should I have a Doorway page for target webpages?

Also tell me the advantages of having a non SFI gateway website. Is it a having a better domain name , isn't it? This ww.quickinfo247.com/12345/Department.vstore?id=32 just doesn't look good when you are posting your links, ads or there are other reason to it like better targeting through your own website. Please let me know your views.
What should be a starting point for marketing or advertising for affilliates and products?

Give me a feedback on Eagle Co-op. Is it worth?

In becoming PTL, what part personal purchases play? How much purchases did you guys do to become a PTL?

Are Key Codes assigned by us? We can assign any keycode and see the advertising results? How I can assign a keycode?

I am also new to SFI - I joined in late May. Seeing the advantages of becoming EA qualified, I joined IAHBE and set it up as a standing order, so that I would be EA every month for as long as I maintained the standing order.

I am very satisfied with IAHBE. It is well worth the investment. As for paying for it, I'm not sure what means are available to you. Do you have a checking account with a debit card? That is how I set my standing order up. My checking account is debited automatically every month, so I don't have to re-submit each month.

As for checks and/or money orders, sorry. I just do not know, but I'm sure other's can fill you in. Just keep checking this Discussion Forum (DBoard). You can also submit your questions about this by clicking on the "Cantact Us" button at the bottom of this page. And of course, you can contact your sponsor and/or PTL, which is what SFI recommends after you have sought answers in FAQs.

As for Gateways, I am experimenting. I have so far submitted 10 of the 14 Gateways available right now to a free traffic exchange program, but have found that at least the one I joined is composed almost entirely, of businesses trying to sell others (you) their products/services. So far, my ads have drawn nothing.

I have a ppc (pay per click) account, which has provided very good results. My problem is that I have more time than money (I am a disabled Vet and get just barely above US poverty level income). So I put $50 into my account, go through all of the amount depasited in 1-2 days, but the resuts? I would call them fantastic!

Last Month, I had only 1 ad (the /FREE Gateway) placed in my ppc account, and got a LOT of clicks. The results? 2 Affiliates already in my powerline, one of whom has become EA and recruited yet another affiliate. Not bad, for just one day of advertising!

I now have 10 ads developed for that ppc account, advertising for both affiliate recruitment and Veriuni product sales. I will soon be adding the other 4 gateways to that ppc account, so that i will be advertising all of the current gateways.

If you have the funds available, you might want to check out ppc advertising. But I have also submitted a couple of ads to a free clasifieds, but only just started them so don't know yet whether such advertising is worth it. I do know, though, that you better set up a new e-mail account just for 1 free advertising campaign! You will get LOTS of e-mail almost immediately.

As for key coding your ads, it is really quite simple. if you wish to keycode the /FREE gateway, which without keycoding is
http://www.ezinfo.com/#######/FREE (#######) = Your SFI ID#), when you use it for a particular campaign, such as a ppc ad campain. just follow your SFI ID@ by a period and a 1, 2, or 3 digit code. Example: http://www.ezinfo.com/9999999.101/FREE. The .101 is the keycode in this example. It will appear with the 101 keycode in your hit tracker report. I've tried it, and it works. Another great tool provided by SFI!

A doorway? I will be starting on my own website devoted just to SFI. I have a registered domain name, and an account with website building tools, so will be experimenting there also. You could go to the Affiliates Store to register a domain name with Great Domainia, then if you don't know HTML yourself, find a site with tools to help you build your own website.

Very limited in funds, I havn't been able to purchase a share in the Eagle Co-op, but plan to as soon as I can. But I only know what SFI tells us about it. I don't know how it works as far as personal experiences.

On the other hand, someone with a full time job who is able to invest say $300/month in SFI will likely get to PTL far faster than I. But I know I will get there, hopefully by product sales.

Many Thanks for your time and eleborated reply. I searched out their payment options. I can send a money order/check to purchase my IAHBE membership. Is it necessary to purchase IAHBE? What if I generate 10SVP with my afflliates purchasing the IAHBE? Is there any time limit to generate 10SVP?

For free exchange program, I think you have to be patient and consistent and keep on submitting the links to your targeted websites.

Its always better to start with a little test on PPC (Clicks, Ad Copy, Money). Yes, PPC advertising can be highly targeted depending upon how you do it? It can yield prety good results. Just on average how much money are you devoting at this time for your 10 ads each month?

I also don't have much experience with unpaid advertising? Have read a lot about it. Looking to to apply it soon then I can discusss the results. I don't know why you are so inclined in paid advertising? If there isn't a time factor involved in SFI, I think you should make two plans side by side. Paid Advertising plan and Unpaid advertising plan for each of the product. Run the campaign, compare the results between the two. Then plan accordingly.

A couple of pointers on ads:

PPCs are probably the best form of low cost ads, and they will yield good results.
Co-op shares are another.

Free Class Ads are the best form of free ads - you will see results if you do a lot of them - you invest time rather than money.

Don't confuse them with FFAs - FFAs are sites where they will harvest your email address and send you spam - so set up a seperate email account for this.
FFAs also do work, if you do them regular and consistent.

TEs - traffic exchanges - these are untargetted.
They look like a good idea - surf and look at other websites while they surf and look at yours - great - free ads. The thing is, somebody looking for a biz opp to join will go to a class ad site or use the search engines, they don't join a TE and start surfing, looking for a biz to join.
So the people surfing are just doing what you are doing - clicking up credits to get their own site seen.
The results we've seen by using these with your SFI gateways - or LGWs to any affiliate program - is that you get lots of hits no signups.

If you want to use the TEs, join a VLB program - Viral List Builder - like ListGenesis, MyLSNClub or The Opt In List - and promote that - people surfing will be interested in these as it offers them a way to do what they are there to do - promote their business - in this case - building an opt in list.

The one thing I will say, and it will be for the third time this week - don't buy one of those auto submitters and expect to get all the work done for free or a "one time" investment. See threads in the free ads forum for details.

You either need to spend a lot of time or a lot of money - though a little of both works. Either way, a lot of persistance. You will see results.

While your affiliates' purchases of IAHBE memberships will pay you a commission and help you to become and remain a PTL, you must become EA from one or a combination of these:

Sell at least 10 SVP worth of SFI product to someone not in SFI.
Buy at least 10 SVP worth of SFI product yourself.

Completing Smart Start gives you 5 SVP toward the 10 you need for your first time EA qualification, at which point you only need 5 more.

The only time limit for becoming EA is the Fast Track option. That must be done in your first 10 days with SFI if you choose to do it at all. That's a personal choice and based on your confidence in yourself, SFI and how well you fit with SFI.
