How does the Powerline option work in the Team Leader Co-op tool?

I noticed that many people are confused on how the powerline option work in the Team Coop Tool. Can a moderator please explain it? I remember receiving an email from Gery Carson explaining it but I accidentally erased it. If that email can be posted here that would be great.

Special SFI Announcement 04/29/05

SFI is pleased to announce an exciting new option for the Team Leader
Co-op Manager. Effective immediately, you can now set up your "lead
flow" to build lines straight down, one person after another, infinitely
deep.

That's not all. We are also DOUBLING the "reach" of NGRs (Network
Growth Recaps) and other notices regarding downline size from 12 to 24
levels. We can do this since upgrades rates from Affiliate to Executive
Affiliate have always been under 50%.

So what does this mean to you? This actually could have a HUGE, and I
do mean HUGE, impact on your business so read the following carefully:

Currently, primarily because of how default placements are done, and
because the reach has been capped at 12 levels up until now,
approximately only 5% of new affiliates have been getting what I consider an
appreciable amount of NGRs, "Hot Spot" Postcards, and other significant
notices regarding downline placements. When I say "appreciable amount," I'm
of course referring to numbers that cause affiliates to take notice
and, more importantly, take action.

Now contrast that to what this new Powerline option delivers:

If you can generate JUST ONE new affiliate a day, after 24 days...

1. Every new affiliate you register will generate a whopping TWENTY
FOUR NGRs!

2. New affiliates will receive one NGR every day for their first 24
days, which is an outstanding "drip" follow-up system.

3. Every one of your affiliates (starting with the 11th) that hasn't
already upgraded will receive a series of special emails from their 25th
to 30th day in SFI reminding them of the total number of affiliates
that have been placed under them to date and the importance of upgrading
before the end of their 30-day window in T-Net. Most will of course
learn they have 24 or more placements under them already!

4. Every one of your US-based affiliates (with the exception of the
first five) that hasn't already upgraded will be sent a full-color jumbo
"Hot Spot" postcard alerting them of the potential "goldmine" they're
sitting on.

Wow! Talk about a powerhouse system! You and everyone in your
downline can go overnight from impacting just 5%....to 90% to 100%! If
you've been looking to increase the number of upgrades in your organization,
the solution has arrived.

Now, I'm sure at this point many of you are thinking, "wait a minute, I
only get paid down 12 levels in T-Net, so why would I want to build a
Powerline that goes down, down, down way beyond my 12-level payline.

Well, for starters, if that's what you're thinking, then you haven't
yet really grasped a big part of how T-Net works. The fact is, because
of Dynamic Compression, you can build infinitely deep and still generate
MAJOR income. If you need a refresher on Dynamic Compression, download
the PDF "Understanding Dynamic Compression" located at
http://www.sfimg.com/TNet.

Other reasons why building very deep lines makes great sense:

1. You'll get the highest upgrades rates possible.

2. You'll be creating the maximum number of commission checks for those
in your team.

3. Virtually every one of your team members can be receiving a monthly
commission check of at least $17 to $20 (a great start to build from).

4. You'll be teaching all your leaders, by example, how to maximize
T-Net. They'll follow your lead and once you've got everyone duplicating
the system...look out!

5. It's the fastest way to advance yourself in rank (since the rank
requirements for personally-referred EAs says they can be located ANYWHERE
under you).

6. In this business, building deep is what creates SECURE downlines --
downlines with the minimum attrition and the most activity up and down
the line.

Now let's go further. Just because this new TL Co-op option allows you
to build an infinitely deep line with tons of benefits...it does NOT
mean you have to or should only build ONE Powerline. Not at all! In
fact, the rule is that you should build one Powerline for every 1-2 leads
you can generate per day. That's the way to maximize this new tool.

If you can generate TWO leads a day, set up your rotation to build TWO
Powerlines. If you can generate THREE leads a day, set up your
rotation to build THREE Powerlines. If you can generate FOUR leads a day, set
up your rotation to build FOUR Powerlines. And so on.

Yes, you can use a different ratio if you want but we don't recommend
it at this time. Let's say, for example, you generate four leads a day
but only choose to build ONE Powerline. That means your affiliates
will only get 8 days of NGRs (4 x 8 = 24, maximum reach is 24 levels)
instead of 24 NGRS spread out over 24 days if you used a 1-1 ratio.

We will of course be tracking the different scenarios. It's possible
for example that a 2-1 ratio may work better. A "2-1" would mean 12
NGRs, one per day for their first 12 days (each notifying them of two more
affiliates having been added to their group). Historically, we've
found that new affiliates are the most responsive during their first ten
days...so this MAY be the "sweet spot," but I like how one per day
provides a nice steady "drip" spread out over 24 full days and sets the stage
nicely for the then "summary" emails and postcards that start arriving
about their 25th day. We'll let you know for sure what's working best
after a month or two of tracking.

For those of you who are capable of generating multiple affiliate
registrations a day, let's look at a really cool strategy to use Powerlines
while at the same time also maximizing the standard T-Net commissions,
too.

Let's say you can generate four new affiliate sign-ups per day. Set up
your rotation to include each of the four persons on your second level
(this of course also equally benefits the two on your first level since
they are above the four on your second level). You're now rocking
downward from all four spots on your second level!

Once you get to the point where you're able to generate 8 new affiliate
registrations a day, now add to your rotation the four affiliates on
your third level who aren't already having a Powerline being built under
them (because of their upline member on your second level). You're now
rocking downward from all eight spots on your third level!

As you continue to increase your output of new affiliate registrations,
just keep adding affiliates to your co-op rotation, maintaining that
important 1-1 ratio, moving from the top to the bottom of your 2x12
network.

Now, let's also not forget that you're not the only one building your
T-Net! You're going to be develop numerous Team Leaders as you build
downward. And every single one can be duplicating what you're doing.
Your Powerlines may START as straight-line, one affiliate-after-another
things, but don't look for them to remain that way! Develop
duplication, work with your Team Leaders, and soon you'll have lines "offshooting"
from your Powerlines all over the place, filling in the "holes" in your
2x12, creating deep, secure lines, and generating massive residual
income.

Are you starting to see it yet?! Can you see how powerful adding
Powerlines to T-Net can be?! Look out, world, here comes SFI...again!

Can you handle one more piece of exciting news? Great, because I've
got the icing on the cake for you!

Starting May 1st, Business Builder Bonuses are going to get a WHOLE lot
more exciting.

We're now going to be awarding bonuses of UP TO $30 for each new EA you
develop...STARTING WITH THE VERY FIRST ONE!

We're ALSO going to be awarding bonuses on the development of Team
Leaders. You'll now earn UP TO $150 for each new Team Leader!

In all, you're now going to be able to earn UP TO $420 in Business
Builder Bonuses for EACH affiliate you personally sponsor. And this is of
course on top of all the other T-Net commissions!

And I'm sure you've already figured this out but I'll say it anyway:
Business Builders makes building Powerlines EVEN MORE lucrative!
Powerlines combined with the bigger, better Business Builder Bonuses is a
"dream team" all by itself. Teamwork works indeed!

Note that full details on the new Business Builder Bonuses will be
coming out on Sunday, May 1st.

Now, just in case your head is spinning a bit from all of the above
details, allow me to reassure you, using this new Powerline tool is NOT
complicated. Not at all! In fact, you can easily have it set up and
working for you in the next two minutes!

Just follow these simple steps:

1. Go to: https://www.sfimg.com/Resources/TLCoop.sfi

2. Choose "Start a New Co-op"

3. Choose your Lead Source, enter a description, and choose the
Assignment Type as normal.

4. Choose "Powerline" as the Co-op Type.

5. Choose your desired Sponsorship option (you'll want to retain
sponsorship).

6. Click on the "Create New Co-op" button.

7. Click the Key Code of your new co-op to add the SFI ID numbers of
the affiliate or affiliates you want to build your Powerlines under.
Now, DON'T FORGET, use the 1-1 ratio here! That is, place only ONE
affiliate in your rotation for every ONE lead you can generate A DAY. As you
increase your lead flow through more and/or better advertising, you can
go in and add affiliates to your rotation whenever you want.

8. After you've submitted your co-op rotation, just start generating
leads using the Key Code for this new co-op. That's it! The system will
now start automatically building Powerlines under each affiliate in
your rotation!

There was also another part to that email

Thanks Karen that email is part of what I am looking for. If I am not mistaken there was another part to that email or maybe we were sent another email. It talked about using the Coop the same way, but placing the affiliates under your powerline as if they sponsored them. The idea was instead of earning EA builder bonuses we would be earning Team Leader Business Builder Bonuses.

I've created a Powerline co-op before with decent success...everything worked fine. I had one member and all my affiliates from that date on went under this person in the TNet.

I removed him after around 10 affiliates replaced him with another affiliate. I just recruited 3 new aff's and none went where they were supposed to. These new aff's have are affiliates...not prospects and show up in my 3rd level, where as the guy i've created the pline for is on my 7th.

Any suggestions as to why this happened?

Clarification please

If I set up a powerline coop and retain sponsorship, who gets the business builder bonus when an affiliate upgrades?

The sponsor (that's you) gets the bonus, assuming the sponsor is in the T-Net.

Question about my new affiliates

I don't know if this is the right thread, but I had a question about sponsoring new affiliates, I am not team leader yet, but I am averaging a few affiliates per day, is there any way to put them under a certain affiliate like you do in the co op, or do they just go in the next available slot. Would I be better off maybe using one of my downline ID's to sponsor a few each, any advice on increasing my chances of affiliates upgrading to EA's Thanks in advance

Can you please explain what happens when you choose to award sponsorship to affiliate instead of retaining sponsorship.

I have two different powerlines being created, one with my eagle coop going to 3-4 EA's of mine. On this one I'm retaining sponsorship. The second poweline is being created by another lead source of mine that has a keycode of 0. On this one I'm awarding sponsorship to my affiliates.

Am I doing this correctly? What is the difference between retaining sponsorship and awarding affiliates sponsorship?

Yes, you are doing this correctly for each of the ways you are working your co-ops.

What is the difference between retaining sponsorship and awarding affiliates sponsorship?

When you retain the sponsorship of the affiliates, you are keeping the people that sign up as your own personal affiliates while helping build your affiliates lines, as well as your own, deep into the t-net which is a good thing for all involved. The awarding of the affiliates to your own affiliates, in your case for becoming an ea, helps them build their own t-net with affiliates and if by chance any of these affiliates that you are awarding your affiliates with become an ea helps them move up into the levels of a teamleader. This is also a good thing for you and your affiliates. This help eleviate the retention in your downline and provide growth in several ways.
